We often see spiritual warfare as swinging a sword around in the spirit, binding & loosing, and cutting the heads off of demonic spirits. While that sounds exciting...sort of....the Apostle Paul outlines a very different strategy in 2 Cor.10 that surrounds pulling down strongholds of thought, and taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ. If we want to keep the enemy at bay, we have to start with our thinking. We have to renew our minds in the Word, and proclaim the truth of God to others such that lies and mistruths are torn down, thus eliminating any foothold the devil could obtain in people's lives.
