Core Beliefs

            The Godhead

We believe in one God, Creator of all things, eternally existing in three persons; Father, Son (Jesus Christ), and Holy Spirit.

            Father God

Father God is immeasurably better than you can understand.  He is for you, not against you.  He is intimately involved in the details of your life, and is working all things for your good and His glory.  (Lk.12:7, Rom.8:31, Ps. 100:5)

            Jesus Christ

We believe in Jesus Christ, His miraculous virgin birth, and His substitutionary death on the cross.  We believe He took all the sins of the world upon Himself, and repaired the gap between God and man through His awesome blood. We believe in His supernatural and powerful resurrection from the dead, His present day healing ministry to bind up the broken-hearted and heal wounds, and in His soon, coming return for His people.

            Holy Spirit

The evident work and power of the Holy Spirit in our lives in for today. For holy living and to be His witness, spokesperson, mouthpiece, example, and ambassadors in growing the Kingdom of God.

         The Word

Salvation

The Bible is active and living.  It is the only infallible, authoritative Word of God, inspired by the Holy Spirit, and given to us for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness. (2Tim.3:16-17).
Eph 2:8  For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; 9  not as a result of works, so that no one may boast.   Jesus is the only door, the only pathway, and the only true God.  No one can be saved, except by and through Him.  One must lay down their life and be born again. (John 3:3, John 14:6, John 3:16; John 10:9-10; Romans 6:23).

Repentance

World Changers

There is a responsibility of repentance. After confession comes repentance, making a 180 degree turn from, repenting of our old life of sin, and turning to a life wholly submitted to Jesus Christ, where we pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace. (II Timothy 2:22)
We believe that a Christian ought to display an extravagant affection for Jesus Christ and be enthusiastically involved in His mission, “that none should perish.” We believe God’s mandate for Christians is summed up in Matthew 28:18-20 and Mark 16:15-17. He commands us to “go,” whether to our schools, work places, homes, cities, states, or other nations. It is crucial that we give everyone an opportunity to know Jesus. We are called to be “world changers,” those who spread the Good News of Jesus to the ends of the earth (Matthew 24:14).

Servanthood

Authority

A believer must lead through servant leadership. Servant leadership involves serving with selflessness and sacrifice, traits found in Jesus. "For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and give his life a ransom for many" (Mark 10:45). Servant Leaders serve with an unselfish concern for others, even at the expense and sacrifice of one's own interests. (Phil.2:3-4, 1 Pet.5:3, Mt. 20:25-28).
A follower of Jesus should walk in Godly authority, having influence without control. Godly influence is the by-product of a life lived in the presence of God. This type of life embraces godly standards, is motivated by godly ideals, demonstrates godly practices, and is empowered by the Holy Spirit. It is authority that is selfless, under the constraints of the Holy Spirit, and following in the foot steps of Jesus.

The Task

To accomplish the "task" of the Great Commission, all vision, plans, strategies, goals, and activities must be immersed in committed prayer.  It was the prayer life that Jesus lived and modeled that caused his disciples to ask him, “Lord teach us to pray.” All the techniques and strategies for organizational growth and partnerships, apart from prayer, will be in vain. Through prayer the believer is connected to God and it is His enablement that allows us to do the work of the ministry. Prayer must be an attitude of the heart and a state of being.
