Joy

Dec 21, 2025    Pastor Shawn Benson

After 70 years of exile in Babylon, the Jews return to Jerusalem and partner with Nehemiah in the rebuilding of the wall. Ezra, the priest, reads from the Book of the Law and deep conviction falls upon all of the people. Nehemiah famously exclaims, don't weep and mourn, but rejoice. For the joy of the Lord is our strength. But what did he mean, and how would this apply to us today? Join us this Christmas week as we talk about Jesus our true joy and how to maintain that joy as we wait upon the Lord for answered prayers.
