Like many young married American families, the Bensons started out their married life in debt and paycheck to paycheck. Ps. Shawn grew up impoverished and had church trauma that convinced him that most church funds were likely being misappropriated. So, concepts like giving and generosity didn't exactly come natural. But God met them, and as their minds were renewed by the hearing of the Word, they began to take the first steps of faith. Little did they know that these small steps would completely transform their life.
